Gopi Birla Memorial School always promotes the importance of community service in our students in order to make the world a better place. In an effort to make our students part of a more environmentally conscious community, students of Grades 9 to 12 were given an opportunity to participate in Post Immersion Beach Clean-up Drive. on Friday 29 September 2023, at Girgaon Chowpatty in association with Change is Us (CIU), a youth-led organisation striving for sustainability. It was a hands-on activity. Students picked up waste materials ranging from plastic bottles, broken plaster of paris pieces and even metal objects that were left at the beach. They worked hand in hand with many other volunteers to ensure that celebrations leave only positivity behind.
